The International Foundation for Oral Design was founded by Mr. Willi Geller, known as the "Maestro" of Master Ceramists. His philosophy extends beyond technical excellence and stresses the highest level of harmony. The Master Ceramist, within the realm of the International Foundation for Oral Design, does not merely imitate nature; he or she actually improves upon it.
A native of Austria, Mr. Geller has worked in commercial and studio laboratories. For over two decades, he has endeavored to discover new restorative methods and ceramic materials that will enable ceramists worldwide to create lifelike restorations. Mr. Geller's philosophy and singular talent has significantly contributed to moving the dental technician out of the shadows and proving the value of his or her role in the creation of the ideal smile.
Since 1984, Mr. Geller has used the International Foundation for Oral Design as the platform from which to share his knowledge and experience. Technicians selected by Mr. Geller to work in his laboratory are given the full advantage of his lectures and training to achieve the designation of "artist".
"Nature makes mistakes," Willi Geller explains. "My goal is to compensate for what nature did wrong, and overcome the limitation."
