ORAL DESIGN
Oral Design New York is part of the International Foundation for Oral Design, a prestigious organization comprising many of the world's most talented dental professionals. Its members have a passion for learning and include ceramists who embrace a shared vision of artistry and an unyielding focus on quality dental care. The Oral Design philosophy allows no compromises. It is understood that there is only one way to create beautiful teeth—and that is the right way.
The International Foundation for Oral Design was founded by Mr. Willi Geller, known as the "Maestro" of Master Ceramists. His philosophy extends beyond technical excellence and stresses the highest level of harmony. One cannot apply for, buy, or solicit a membership. To become a member, a Master Ceramist must be invited to join. The selection process is based on the candidate’s satisfaction of the following criteria:
- A proven track record as an excellent dental technician;
- A thirst for knowledge that empowers a continual process of self-improvement as a dental technician;
- A commitment to improve dental technology as a whole by educating others (eg, other dental technicians, clinicians, the public at large) and contributing to publications and other information resources; and
- A pursuit of involvement with the dental community on a personal level.
Jason Kim has served as the Treasurer/Secretary and a Board Member of the International Foundation for Oral Design since 1997. Jason is a respected Oral Design member and has been internationally recognized for his personal involvement in the education of the Master Ceramists of tomorrow. In this capacity, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Course Director of "Mastering Aesthetics & Ceramics" at the New York University College of Dentistry, Continuing Dental Education.
